set of intelligent instruments and countless sound creation possibilities, redefining
how you generate ideas and create music.

Changelog v8.12.0:
GENERAL CHANGES

ADDED: Phase 1 of the instrument header redesign in standard view. Individual controls (such as “MIDI Input,” “Audio Output,” and “Purge”) are planned for release in Phase 2 of 8.13/8.14; these functions can still be accessed via the instrument header in Classic view.
ADDED: Improved visual visibility of “Solo” and “Mute” states in the instrument header.
ADDED: Ability to show/hide instrument user interfaces from instrument headers.
FIXED: The “What’s New” page could be cut off when launching Kontakt in Kontrol or Maschine.
FIXED: Some buttons would accidentally steal focus from the spacebar.
FIXED: The usage data collection toggle function did not work.
KNOWN ISSUE: The preset name may display incorrectly in a new header after reopening a saved session.

COLLECTOR CHANGES

ADDED: Komplete UI Waveform has now been migrated to the stable version.
ADDED: Option to use Group Handle instead of Group Indices for zones.
ADDED: Fade in / Fade out commands now accept optional curve arguments (Equal Power, S Curve, Exponential, Logarithmic, Linear).
ADDED: Program Handle renamed to Instrument.
ADDED: Method overload support for Komplete Script.
FIXED: Crash when closing the instrument in edit mode.
FIXED: Crash when zooming out on the waveform graph when the end of a sample is visible.
FIXED: Zone and sample APIs were incorrectly accessible in the instrument.
FIXED: GUI clipping issues in older NGL-based instruments. FIXED: Saving a custom script did not update the Script dropdown menu.

How to install, questions, etc :

1) Launch Kontakt 8 8.12.0 Setup on your computer.
2) Disable your antivirus and unzip KKontakt 8.12.0 Full Options Patcher.7z, then run Kontakt 8.12.0 Full Options Patcher as administrator.
(If you unchecked the AAX or VST3 option during installation, the patcher will inform you that it can’t find the file. Simply click NO.)
Click the Patch button and wait until DONE appears in the lower left corner.

How do I add a library?
After successfully registering Kontakt, you can add the library containing “Kontakt_Button” to the “C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8″ folder.
If this utility is missing, it may have been blacklisted by your antivirus software or Kontakt did not register properly.

Can I install the latest version of Kontakt 8 over a previous version of Kontakt (bobdule)?
YES! You can, but make sure you use the same location (default).

Can Kontakt 6/7 or Kontakt 8 run side by side?
Yes! You can install both versions without any conflicts.
