Description:
Cockos Reaper is one of the most advanced software programs for music production, suitable for both professional studio environments and home use. A key feature of the software is its support for pattern-based, piano-roll (keyboard), and audio editing. You can create an unlimited number of audio or MIDI tracks, with no restriction on the number of VST-format virtual instruments you can add.
Reaper has a small footprint on your hard drive and is less CPU-intensive than programs like FL Studio, Cubase, Reason, or Sonar. It can run even on low-end computers, including those with sound cards that do not support full-duplex operation. However, if your sound card does support full-duplex, you gain virtually limitless possibilities for creating professional-sounding compositions—including support for surround formats like 5.1, or even 7.1 with the addition of extra plug-ins.
Installation (x64):
- After installing the program, run REAPER_KeyGen.exe, enter any email address, click PATCH,
and select the reaper.exe file located in the program’s installation folder. - Click GENERATE and save the license file into the program’s installation folder.
Localization (Russian):
With REAPER running, open the Russian.ReaperLangPack file and point it to the reaper.exe file in the installation folder. Restart REAPER.
Note:
You can create a portable version yourself; the installer includes a checkbox for this purpose. The activation and localization process is the same as for the standard installation version.
