Description:
Wave Arts Tube Saturator 2 is a high-precision plug-in for emulating a tube preamplifier with an analog equalizer that can be used to add a soft warm sound or overdriven to create rich distortion.
The plug-in is based on analog circuit modeling technology, which transforms the behavior of individual tubes, resistors, and capacitors into a mathematical system of equations that are solved numerically to reproduce the authentic sound of a real circuit.
Unlike its predecessor, Tube Saturator Vintage, version 2 uses pre-calculated decision tables, making the saturation section about 7 times faster with even more accurate modeling. The plugin includes a three-band Baxandall-type EQ, typical of many guitar amps, and is suitable for processing vocals, bass, synths, drums and entire mixes.
