Profuse thanks…….. it’s interesting that there are such distinct methodologies among the DAWs. All IMO and PC-only, Ableton Live, Reaper, and Samplitude stand unique in terms of how the music in your head gets to the screen. Two I find similar, though, are Cubase and Studio One…….. I’d read somewhere that the oracle of VST and ASIO, Jim Steinberg, was working with PreSonus. There are several features I see/hear that make me wonder if a fusion of the two DAWs might come about. And for beginners (I’ll always be anyway) even Cakewalk’s Sonar and Cubase can be a challenge to switch to. Despite sitting slack-jawed and dazed at a Cubase “Empty” template, I’ve come to prefer its methods above all others. Thanks!!!
