Installation :
- Run and install Kontakt 8 8.4.0 Setup PC.exe
- Run Kontakt 8.4.0 Patcher.exe
- Click PATCH and patch the format you installed (VST3 or AAX)
- Next, Patcher will ask to overwrite the NativeAccess.xml file , click “Yes”
- Then click DONE
- Enjoy!
Adding Libraries :
Adding libraries is done using Kontakt_Button.exe ,
located in C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8
Note : The Kontakt_Button.exe file may be recognized by your antivirus system as malware and deleted. To avoid this, add the Kontakt_Button.exe file and the C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8 folder to the exclusions in your antivirus, as well as in Microsoft Defender.
How to do this:
“Right-click the Start icon – Settings – Update & Security – Windows Security – Virus & threat protection
– Virus & threat protection settings – manage settings – Exclusions – add or remove exclusions”
