Handpan Machina isn’t just any hang. It’s our most powerful Kontakt GUI to date, capable of seamlessly combining loops, and a multi-sampled Halo (an instrument inspired by traditional steelpan and hang) , to which we’ve added our signature creative modern processing for otherworldly pads, drones, plucks, and loops. Each instrument features dual XY pads and can handle up to 4 different layers with independent sequencers and effects. The second XY pad is dedicated exclusively to controlling the mixing of multiple effects, so you can make full real-time adjustments while recording or automating.
Handpan Machina is a collaboration between PulseSetter Sounds and award-winning composer Gregory Tripi ( Hunt , Justice , Ma ). By combining Gregory’s unique performance and style with PulseSetter Sounds ‘ modern hybrid approach, we’ve created an instrument capable of playing all the musical parts in one go, thanks to its extreme flexibility and extensive content.
