Omnisphere Mirai is a collection of 120 cinematic patches for the Spectrasonics Omnisphere synthesizer. It includes 128 exclusive sound sources, recorded and developed specifically for this sound pack. It uses only these new sound sources and does not use any stock sounds from Omnisphere or any other sound pack.
Mirai is my most synth-inspired sound pack to date, heavily inspired by cyberpunk and retro electronics. The main difference from typical synth presets is that it’s entirely sample-based and doesn’t use Omnisphere’s oscillator waveforms.
Instead, I created a large number of complex wavetables using a variety of other synths, combined them, and then used the resulting samples to create sound sources for Mirai. This means that each patch is a true hybrid of several completely different synths, giving this collection a unique tonal richness.
Omnisphere Mirai makes extensive use of the modulation wheel. In many cases, it can completely transform a patch, turning it into something completely different, so I encourage you to experiment with it.
