Together, this series of packs tells the story of how soul music has emerged and evolved over the past few decades. For this vocal package, Kim Mayo and Seal Dubenion channeled some serious vibes from Billie Holliday and Donnie Hathaway.
They improvised all of their tunes via stream of consciousness during their band’s studio session. We took these raw performances and used Vocalsynth, Antares Harmony Engine and other effects to make these samples at home in any modern R&B or neo-soul track.
