Performance improvements and UI optimizations (Windows)
We’ve made significant internal optimizations to improve overall performance and responsiveness, especially for Windows users experiencing CPU usage, lag, or UI slowdowns.
New Global Mix Control
You can now adjust the wet/dry balance for the entire TONEFLX chain directly in the plugin with the new global mix control.
Pedals Order Fixes
Fixed an issue where some pedal combinations could not be reordered correctly. Reordering pedals now works flawlessly across all configurations.
Added EQ Visualizer
The EQ pop-up now displays a visual representation of all three EQ bands, making it easier to adjust the tone.
Pitch Reverse and Forward Controls Added to the Modulation System
The Pitch Reverse and Forward controls on the Reverse Pedal can now be assigned to the Modulation System, opening up even more possibilities for creative pitch-based moves and effects.
FX Generator Improvements
Selected FX Generator tags are now saved between sessions, and tag visibility has been improved for easier and more intuitive use.
Installation:
Step 1. Install the plugin. It will most likely be installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3 folder. Move the “TONEFLX.vst3” folder from there to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and replace the TONEFLX file inside with the TONEFLX file from the distribution. Do not open your DAW yet.
Step 2. Disable telemetry. (This step is not required for activation, BUT I still recommend it.)
1) Open the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder.
2) Open the hosts file in Notepad. Add 127.0.0.1 ffwd-auth.co.uk and save.
3) Go to the plugin folder:
\AppData\Roaming\Sonix Audio\TONEFLX
Copy and paste “TONEFLX LAUNCH PARTY PRESETS” into the “USER” folder
Open the plugin again and check the “USER” folder inside the plugin.
Step 3: Enjoy your fully unlocked plugin!
