Bring in all the atmosphere of classic 90s consumer mixing consoles! With Shy 90s Channel, you can work as if you were sitting in a 1996 bedroom studio, tweaking tracks without realizing what you’re doing, but achieving rugged greatness!

- Use the EQ section to sculpt tracks with the broadest brush and dramatically change the tone from soft to truly over-the-top!
– Switchable High Shelf (‘Original’ to ‘Linear’): The original behavior reduces midrange gain while boosting the high
shelf – Parametric Midrange: This range really loads everything up with huge
power reserves – Switchable Low Shelf: Can work as a very wide shelf or centered around 30Hz for maximum low-bass power
Drive:
is capable of pushing any source into heavy distortion while maintaining low frequencies. When combined with the EQ, Drive creates unique frequency-dependent harmonics, allowing for a wide range of overdrive effects.
– Frequency-dependent nonlinearities up to +30 dB! At maximum settings, it introduces a 60 Hz low cut to protect speakers (Low cut can be turned “OFF” by pressing “90s”)
– A unique combination of even and odd
harmonics – A smooth response, even when all EQs are maxed out (we really recommend doing so)
– “Flux” introduces subtle L/R variations for a more “analog” feel
The final part of the chain is the Signal module, where you can apply additional filters to equalize and modulate the signal. Use the Dry/Wet knob to completely remove the sound and bring back some of its original character.

Cut filters – phase-aligned Dry/Wet control for the entire signal chain, except for the clean output fader, allowing you to equalize everything to taste
