The Voyetra is a rare, 8-voice polyphonic analog rack-mount synthesizer developed in New York in the early 80s; many consider it one of the best-sounding analog synthesizers ever built. Even the Jupiters can’t compete with this unit in terms of sound. The patches are massive—wide open and lush—featuring thick bass, rich resonance, a unique DC modulation source (which makes the sound seem to die away in the most beautiful fashion), linear FM, and classic sync. It has been used by artists such as New Order, The Eurythmics, Neon Indian, and Dennis Ferrer (our division toured with Edgar Winter).
