The Evolution of Vocals
C h o i r × O m n i a captures 40 vocalists in exquisite detail, from the softest murmurs to seething emotions. Create your own individual combinations of male and female choirs, dividing them into four traditional sections. This choir is extremely dynamic, intuitive and versatile enough to write any genre of music. Play single syllables or create complex performative phrases with Syllabuilder. C h o i r × O m n i a was created in collaboration with Strezov Sampling and recorded in Sofia Session Studio.
Detailed Expression
From science fiction films to gritty experimental electronica, vocals can evoke emotions that make or break a soundtrack. C h o i r × O m n i a was recorded in an orchestra hall with multiple microphones to achieve an authentic, multifaceted sound that combines various musical styles. Sustain, marcato, staccato and staccatissimo are combined with different syllables that can be played in two modes. Keep it simple or create complex transformations; combine articulations, syllables and releases. A huge number of attack layers provide smooth transitions, as well as polyphonic true legato and a wide range of articulations.

Syllabuilder Engine
The innovative Syllabuilder engine takes the 16 available syllables and completely transforms them, combining phonemes to create new vocalizations. With two transform modes and multiple loops per syllable, creating authentic and inspiring choral parts has never been easier. Use the randomize buttons to generate new syllable sequences for endless inspiration.
Two Performance Modes
With a variety of performance modes, you can find the performance style that suits you. Keys mode uses switches to change syllables on the fly—great for creating simple riffs and sketching out ideas. Sequence mode takes things to the next level, allowing you to create complex sequences of syllables with note spacing and other parameters. Set it and forget it – focus on chord shapes and dynamics.

Easy to use and yet deep enough for complete customization, C h o i r × O m n i a offers many options for customizing your sound. Control individual syllable duration, volume, and release behavior. Design a custom soundstage with 5 mixable mic placements, stereo distribution, EQ, and signature Native Instruments reverb presets . Global parameters for legato, loops and dynamics allow you to give your choral performance your individual style.

With two browsers, finding the perfect choir sound is easy. A wide selection of global presets cover everything from natural choral ambiance to hybrid cinematography. Syllabuilder has its own browser with pre-created phrases and motifs, fully editable in Sequence mode. Save your creations and easily change sequences between choir sections.
