Description:
Automatic vocal equalizer tailored to hits
I spent months measuring 3,054 vocals from hits to understand where they really lie. magic.CURVE aligns your vocals to that balance—in real time, with a single knob.

Music by Mattie:

What I created:
Your tone measured in real time compared to actual hit vocals
Targets I created based on 3054 Billboard vocal samples
One AMOUNT knob gets you closer to a hit sound
You see exactly what EQ is being applied in real time
Not a preset. This is the true tonal balance of hits.
I extracted the vocals from every Billboard hit I could find, then measured and adjusted each one. That’s what targets are. When you turn the AMOUNT knob, you’re bringing your tone closer to how it actually sounds.

I’ve taken measurements:
You turn one knob.
That’s all you need to quickly match your vocals to how they sound on the recordings.
The mint line is your vocal, a live
sound. Play and watch your tone approach the “error” in real time—no static curves.
The purple bar is the “error”
area, where 3054 vocal “errors” for your chosen target are located: six genre bars, three vocal registers.

You can see the:
actual equalizer correction displayed on the same display. Nothing is hidden.
QUANTITY is a single knob.
Choose a target and adjust QUANTITY to your liking. No lag, easy to connect—no need to understand EQs.

How it works:
Select a target and turn the AMOUNT knob. The display shows your vocal (mint line) relative to the beat position (purple bar), so you can see exactly how close you are to the target.
1 Plug it into your vocals
No latency, so it plugs right into your vocal chain in any DAW.
2. Select a target.
Choose a genre or voice type for your singer. If you’re unsure, leave it at “All Hits.”
3. Change the QUANTITY
Increase the QUANTITY (starting at about 50%) until your line fits into the group. A/B testing vs. bypass – done.

Genre Targets:
All Hits · Country · Hip-Hop · Electronic · Latin · Pop
The tonal balance of hit vocals in this style. “All Hits” is an average.
Target Voice Type:
Low · Medium · High
Your singing register. Best suited for singing. One target at a time: choosing a voice type overrides the genre selection, and vice versa.
