SWAM (Synchronous Waves Acoustic Modeling) is a sophisticated, proprietary, next-generation technology that enables musicians,
performers, and composers to overcome the classic limitations of traditional samplers. Developed by Stefano Lucato and Emanuele Parravicini,
SWAM technology combines concepts of physical and behavioral modeling with a multi-vector/phase-synchronous sample-morphing method.
SWAM technology is ideally suited for multi-vector, expressive acoustic instruments, such as woodwinds, brass,
and bowed strings. It is currently available in three versions—SWAM-B, SWAM-W, and SWAM-S—for modeling brass,
woodwind, and bowed string instruments, respectively.
