VS 2 is the second version of a visual synthesizer from the Portuguese company Imaginando—a software tool
that creates dynamic visual effects that respond to sound and MIDI, transforming music and signals into visual compositions in real time.
VS 2 is a dedicated software application/plugin (VST, AU, etc.) for creating graphics that respond to audio and MIDI inputs. Instead of generating sound, it
synthesizes audio-responsive visual images.
It can be used as a standalone program or within a music DAW.
- Multi-layer visualization – Up to 8 visual layers with polyphony and multiple “voices” per layer.
- Audio and MIDI reactivity – Visuals respond to music, frequencies, drums, MIDI notes, and controllers.

- Enter the string 127.0.0.1 api.imaginando.pt in the hosts file:
(Search → Notepad → Right-click → Run as administrator. In the file selection window, select “All files (.)”, otherwise the hosts file will not be visible. C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts ). -
Install the plugin.

Register with the WM_Imaginando.r2rwm file .
When you first launch Visual Studio 2, it will download the latest modules and add-ons. If you’re installing it locally:
You need to update the modules file for the preset database.
Simply copy the modules file to the %userprofile%\Documents\Imaginando\VS 2 folder .
From the Addons folder , add files to %userprofile%\Documents\Imaginando\VS 2\Addons .
