Description : AVA De-Esser is the latest software implementation of the famous De-Esser algorithm from Harrison, used in the state-of-the-art post-processing equipment worldwide. Now, in the fourth generation, the algorithm of Harrison De-Esser is constantly in demand by our clients in elite studios around the world.
Harrison’s reputation as “True Analog In-The-Box” is won thanks to our unique heritage, where we first created an analog console processor, and then converted this processor to digital, preserving the sound and character of the original analog system.
AVA De-Esser implements the de-esser algorithm of the 4th generation Harrison for detecting and eliminating sharp sibilants in real time.

Characteristic:
Intelligent algorithm operates on harsh sibilance while ignoring other fricatives.
Band Solos and Auto-Solo feature helps the user dial-in the sibilant frequency range.
Capable of up to 12dB reduction in sibilance.
Adjustable threshold & depth allow fine control over the processor’s onset and strength.
Fast and easy-to-use interface.
Zero-latency processing, suitable for “live” use.
Gain-reduction is the result of ProTools mixer strip. (AAX format only).
The results are quintessentially Harrison: effortless, smooth and transparent.
