Description: Based on a Marshall™ 1960AX amplifier, equipped with four 12-inch Celestion™ G12M speakers rated at 25 watts (75 ohms).
Technically, they are virtually identical to the MR-CB71 G12M25. However, 33 years have passed between these two speakers, and the older Pre-Rola cones in the MR-CB71 are little different from the 2004 reissue of the “Made in England” Greenback used in this speaker. They sound completely different. The MR-CB71 emphasizes the low-midrange, while the MR-AX1960 emphasizes the high-midrange.
Classic Greenback sound with plenty of power for band playing. A great speaker!
