Ambiente by Audio Modeling brings a high level of realism to your work, allowing you to place any instrument, whether virtual or recorded, in a single virtual room. This room simulator goes beyond standard reverb or convolution, calculating geometric reflections of sound waves so that each source interacts naturally with the surrounding environment.
With Ambiente, you can record real instruments, such as solo strings or other acoustic performers, in compact spaces like a home studio, and then seamlessly blend them with virtual instruments, including SWAM instruments, in the same simulated acoustic space.
Adjust the size of the team room, select absorption materials, and adjust microphone positioning to fine-tune the sonic environment. Whether you want the intimacy of a cramped studio or the openness of a large, reverberant hall, Ambiente makes it easy to create a cohesive soundscape. Its true power lies in how multiple instances interact within your DAW. [Access Block]
If you used previous versions and modified the hosts file to block network access,
you must REMOVE all lines related to audio modeling.
Recent versions scan hosts files.
The program will not start if these lines are detected.
If you are using AAX with an internet connection, you must block the PUBLIC connection with your firewall.
If you block the private connection, functionality will be limited (see [Access Permission]).
Standalone, VST2, and VST3 do not require an access block (related to R2R System Network Block Runtime).

Audio modeling plug-ins communicate with each other using winsock2.
This functionality may be limited if the private connection is blocked by a firewall. > Enhanced Connectivity
With the introduction of SWAM String Sections and the subsequent 3.8 update for
SWAM Solo Instruments, all products now feature the Ambiente Room Simulator.
This powerful tool, although appearing as a separate component in each plug-in,
communicates with other plug-in instances over the local network.
This interplugin communication allows for synchronization of operations and settings
across all instances, saving time, reducing errors, and ensuring consistent results
across your projects.

Uninstall previous versions.
Uninstall the Audio Modeling Software Center.
If you want to clean up, check the following folders:

* “%PUBLIC%\Documents\Audio Modeling\”

Run “AMSC_Register.exe”. This tool generates two configuration files (XML) for
%PUBLIC%\Documents\Audio Modeling\Software Center\
If you want to customize more, do so at your own risk.
“AM_CommonSettings.xml” contains application settings, including the multicast network IP address and port.
“AM_Config.xml” contains path settings.

Note:
Since 2026, Audio Modeling licenses have been consolidated into a single file.

This means you can no longer mix legitimate and cracked software.
In any case, our magic is a genuine keygen. Legit updates work as expected.
Keep in mind that legitimate updates are ringing home. You need to block network access, like ProTools/AAX.

The witch says: ”
Audio Modeling has changed the protection again.” The licenses are now combined into a single file. As always, due to poor encoding by Audio Modeling, the current protection has introduced serious errors.
Audio Modeling generates a random BlowFish key to encrypt the main license. This
BlowFish key is also encrypted and encoded in a different form. The problem is that
their application sometimes crashes, reverting to the original BlowFish key.
After this problem, the main license can no longer be decrypted. Due to
poor error handling by another Audio Modeling, Audio Modeling Software
Center crashes on startup. Reinstalling it won’t solve the problem. You must manually delete the
license file.
Our magic isn’t just the actual key generation, but also preventing (or fixing) problems with the license
file. We know why this happens.
