With every new update do you need to uninstall the last or can it be installed to the same directory and overwritten? Thanks for all the hard work.
Before install go to Program Data folder, find Arturia folder there and rename the presets, samples and shared folders to something like –
_Presets
_Samples
_Shared
Install all soundbanks. Then return to Arturia folder in Program Data and copy all new files from the presets, samples and shared folders to the renamed folder. Select overwrite. Once all are copied over, delete the new presets, samples and shared folders and rename the old folders back to Preset, Samples and Shared.
This will avoid you losing any samples/presets when installing these soundbanks. They often have different content and you can end up with a bunch of missing stuff. It’s a pain and really time consuming, but it is worth doing if you use a lot of the Arturia content.
