Description:
FMAN has established itself as the benchmark for tuned Marshall sounds. The B100D is the pinnacle of this legendary line of amplifiers.
The clean channel produces a sound similar to the Plexi, but less harsh and piercing than the vintage versionβ€”more refined and controlled, while retaining the Plexi character.
The BE channel offers tremendous gain potential, simultaneously smooth and dynamic, while maintaining the characteristic MRSH sharpness and clarity in the upper midrange. The liveliness, balance, and musicality of this channel are captivating. Nothing else can compare to its soundβ€”very dynamic despite its gain character, and extremely flexible thanks to its many switching options. This is the perfect platform for classic rock and beyond.
The boosted BE channel further amplifies the sound, delivering high-gain tones with the signature MRSH midrange. This is perhaps the first amp we’ve encountered that can deliver high gain with so much midrange and still sound great. It doesn’t like dips in its frequency response, and its main strength is its extremely dynamic response thanks to the power amp’s active contribution to tone shaping and distortion.
If you’re looking for an amp that covers virtually any gain level for any genre, with a more controlled, refined, and modern MRSH-style sound, this is it.
Recording was done through an MRSH 4X12 cabinet and a G12M25 mixing console with V30 speakers (just like the FMAN 4X12 cabinets), two Royer R121 microphones, one Beyerdynamic M16 microphone, and one Neumann U87 microphone. Content
