Description:
Big Man Labs Big Notes is a convenient studio utility for saving notes and photos directly within your DAW project. The plugin allows you to instantly capture the positions of knobs and faders on hardware gear, guitar pedalboard settings, synthesizer patches, and microphone placements—storing all this data right within your session on the relevant track. Features
Features:
– Instant transfer from your smartphone: Each instance of the plugin generates a unique QR code—scan it with your phone, take a photo of your compressor settings or microphone placement, and the image will appear directly within the plugin—no cables or file transfers required.
– 4 photo slots per instance: Capture the front panel, rear-panel connections, microphone positioning, or the overall room setup, with independent zoom, pan, and rotation controls for each image.
– Session text notes: Document gain-staging parameters, signal chain details, or any other comments, with real-time synchronization between the plugin and your smartphone.
– Channel-specific assignment: Add a separate instance of the plugin to each track (vocals, drums, guitars) so that when you revisit a project months later, you can precisely reconstruct your setup.
– Light and dark themes: Switch between modes to match your DAW’s aesthetic and your studio’s lighting (the interface on your phone automatically adapts to the selected theme).
