Description:
Luftrum 34 for Omnisphere 3 is a meticulously crafted soundset featuring 128 patches, including 18 multi-patches, slowly simmering in the sound lab over months. It’s designed to explore a vast sonic landscape while remaining true to Luftrum’s signature aesthetic.
Each sound is shaped by expressive sound design with an emphasis on atmospheric detail, subtle movement, and delicate overtones. Reacting naturally to velocity, mod wheel, and aftertouch, the patches open up, evolve, and breathe as you play—instead of remaining static. The soundset seamlessly transitions between ambient and electronic influences, blending the synth worlds of Vangelis, Rival Consoles, and Stranger Things with the hazy, melodic character of artists like Boards of Canada, Jon Hopkins, and Röyksopp.
Luftrum 34 is built around fragile and intimate polysynths that feel organic and responsive under the fingers. These are complemented by a wide selection of ambient and electronic pads, playable textures, melodic sequences, and dreamy, cascading arpeggios. The set also features quadzone stacked and split-key keyboards, where multiple timbres interact across the keyboard. These sounds work equally well in sleek, minimalist compositions and dense, multi-layered arrangements. Designed to make the most of the new sound sources, filters, and effects introduced in Omnisphere 3, all presets are organized in official Spectrasonics categories and support several dB of headroom. This pack requires Omnisphere 3.0.1c or later and comes with a PDF manual for easy installation.
As a bonus, Luftrum 34 includes an additional set of 42 selected mutations created using Omnisphere 3’s new mutation feature. We’ve generated over 600 Luftrum 34 mutations and distilled them down to 42 of the most inspiring sounds. These are included in a separate, dedicated set called Luftrum 34 Mutations.
We’ve prepared a YouTube walkthrough below, including several demos so you can hear exactly how the patches breathe. All tracks were created using Omnisphere 3 patches from Luftrum 34.
