The virtual versions of Korg Wavestate are based on the same technologies as the hardware versions of the synthesizer.
Compatibility allows you to import patches created in plug-ins into real instruments, as well as settings generated on hardware devices into plug-ins.
Korg’s line of digital synthesizers, which includes Wavestate, operates on a unified hardware platform based on the Raspberry Pi.
This solution allowed the company to transfer instruments to a software environment without any loss of functionality or sound.

The Korg Wavestate Native plugin is fully compatible with the original digital synthesizer. It features the Wave Sequencing 2.0 sound engine with support for 64-voice stereo polyphony.
Users can independently control timing, waveform behavior, and pitch, creating complex waveforms. Filters from the Korg MS-20 and Polysix, as well as a range of other processing options, are available for signal processing.
The modulation engine supports 4,000 receivers without performance loss. The modulation section is enhanced with an advanced randomizer with a wide range of settings.
The plugin features a sample library that, according to Korg, is “thousands of times larger than the original Wavestation library.”
