About the version :
Version 3.6.7 – March 24, 2026
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Fixed a multiband humming sound without audio input. KClip 3’s quad-band mode could periodically produce a humming or buzzing sound even on a silent track. This was resolved by converting the multiband crossover filters and internal distortion filters to double-precision, eliminating accumulated rounding errors that prevented the band outputs from canceling perfectly into silence.
Fixed a humming sound when loading multiband presets in Cubase. Loading a session or preset with quad-band mode (especially in Tube, Tape, Germanium, Silicon, or Guitar Amp modes) could cause a persistent humming sound that could not be stopped even by switching modes. This solution was implemented using a flow-safe preset restore mechanism and the removal of excess filtering that interfered with the signal path.
Fixed DC offset discontinuities in Germanium and Silicon clipping modes. Both Germanium and Silicon clipping modes had a subtle DC offset that could cause clicks or pops during transitions. Waveforming was adjusted to properly center at zero without changing the sonic character of these modes.
Fixed a phase inversion issue in Broken Speaker mode. There was a phase inversion issue in the Broken Speaker distortion mode, which was fixed.
The A/B preset state is now preserved across DAW sessions. The A/B comparison state is now fully preserved when saving and loading DAW sessions. Previously, only the active preset was saved; now both the A and B slots, as well as the active selection, are restored. This also resolves an issue where preset names (and sometimes plugin settings) could be lost, depending on the AB and host state.
SDK and frameworks have been updated.
Automation compatibility improvements
VST2/VST3. Parameter ID handling has been updated in all plugins to ensure consistent automation rendering between VST2 and VST3 formats.
Disabled OpenGL rendering by default. Explicit accelerated rendering using OpenGL is disabled by default. This improves compatibility with most modern hosts and system configurations. Hardware-accelerated rendering is still used where possible (on most systems). This option is still available in the plugin settings on older systems with accelerated graphics cards.
