Studio Special Edition Vol 1 features over 50 of the most common instruments and ensembles with a rich range of articulations. It includes two solo violins and two solo cellos, orchestral strings, solo brass section instruments and ensembles, woodwinds from piccolo to contrabassoon, harp, timpani, drums and percussion, as well as celesta and two different grand pianos. The instruments were recorded in the relatively dry and controlled Silent Stage environment, giving you plenty of options for placing the instruments in any acoustic environment of your choice, including presets for their ideal placement on the A Synchron Stage Vienna.
World-Class Acoustics
Vienna Synchron Player includes a custom-designed convolution reverb, powered by Vienna MIR Pro 3D, that captures the remarkable ambience of the 540 sq. m (5,813 sq. ft.) Synchron Stage Vienna main hall. Perfectly crafted reverb and placement presets combine customizable impulse responses with expertly crafted reverb settings for each instrument or ensemble. Adding the ambience of Synchron Stage Vienna’s Stage A to relatively dry real-time samples, Studio Special Editions pair seamlessly with any other product in our Synchron series, resulting in a production-ready sound right out of the box. By disabling the internal convolution reverb, you can place all instruments and ensembles anywhere in the stereo field and in any acoustic environment, from dry rooms to stages and halls.

NSK Integration
Studio Special Editions support Native Instruments’ NKS format and are compatible with Komplete Kontrol and Maschine keyboards. Use the indicator light to quickly identify the key switches and playback ranges of your instruments, view and preview sounds, and quickly adapt them using preset controls.
