Featuring four carefully curated kits, Dry EZX covers a wide sonic spectrum, from earthy and warm to sharp and slightly ringing. Recording took place in a small room with a low ceiling and thick curtains on the walls, keeping background noise to an absolute minimum. The result is a collection of incredibly clear kits that sound as if you’re right there in the room—just inches from the drums.
One notable feature is that for some kits, two drummers sat opposite each other, simultaneously hitting the bass drum, snare drum, toms, and hi-hats at every volume level. The resulting natural flames and organic imperfections lend a rich and layered sound—perfect for adding subtle yet complementary variations to your grooves. If you’re looking for an EZX that’s equally at home with understated singer-songwriters and indie as it is with bold beats and modern pop, then this is it. Copy the EZX3_DryDrums folder to the directory where your other EZX libraries are located.
From the Midi folder, copy the 1956@EZX_DRY folder to the Midi directory where your other EZDrummer MIDI grooves are stored.
