Description:
Your New Secret Sauce
Streamline your workflow by combining processes that would normally require a chain of plugins into a single tool.
Features:
• 16 parametric processing bands in sequential mode
• Five modes for each band: EQ, Orra Tube, Tape, Models, Dynamic EQ
• 17 saturation options: Orra Tube + 6 Tape models + 10 saturation algorithms
• Dynamic saturation for intelligent harmonic enhancement
• Create EQ or Orra Tube saturation bands by double-clicking the curve with the left or right mouse button
• Surgical precision with a Q range from 0.1 to 40
• Real-time spectrum analyzer with pre- and post-monitoring
Why Orra EQ Exists
We didn’t set out to create yet another equalizer. We wanted frequency-based control over the entire tone-shaping chain—EQ, saturation, and dynamics—that could be combined as desired, rather than tied to individual plugins.
The Traditional Approach
Load an EQ to shape the tone. Load a saturator to add color. Load a compressor to adjust the dynamics. Each plugin processes the entire signal before passing it to the next plugin. You can’t have an EQ focused only on the highs, a saturator focused only on the mids, and a compressor focused only on the lows, all within a single chain.
Processing the entire signal, one stage at a time.
The Orra Way
Sixteen bands, each with its own mode. EQ one frequency, saturate another, compress another—in any order. Use a tube saturator after a dynamic cut on the same band, or alternate processing styles across the spectrum.
Control the entire tone-shaping chain by frequency.
17 saturation types—all with Dynamic support
Choose from 6 Orra Tube tape machines and 10 creative saturators—from a vintage, warm preamp to an aggressive wave processor.
Any saturation type can be made dynamic. Dynamic saturation not only adds harmonics but also emphasizes quiet details through harmonic enrichment—similar to compression toward gain, but preserving color and character, not just gain.
The result: a spacious sound that responds to your playing, not just a static effect.
Saturation that breathes into your music.
Note and key binding
Stop guessing what frequency you need. Enable the note-snapping feature, and your groups will adjust to the notes you need—C, F#4, or any other note.
Right-click on any group and select the desired note—C, F#4, A, or any other note you need for your song. No more calculating frequencies with a calculator.
Perfect for working with bass notes, reducing resonant frequencies in vocals, or ensuring your gain settings match the music.
EQ in the musical, not just technical, sense A full-featured equalizer—and everything else
Orra EQ is a full-featured parametric equalizer: 16 bands, gain from 0.1 to 40, filter slope up to 48 dB/octave, and a frequency range from 10 Hz to 22 kHz. High- and low-pass filters, band-pass filters, shelving, and notching—all the necessary surgical tools, plus a real-time spectrum analyzer showing the results of pre- and post-processing.
Use it as a clean, transparent EQ when you need it. Then switch to saturation or dynamic mode when you need something more. One plug-in—no compromises.
A professional EQ that adapts to your needs.
EQ Mode
Surgical parametric EQ with Q values from 0.1 to 40. Slope up to 48 dB/octave to filter out “brickwork.”
Perfect for correction work and precise tone shaping.
Orr Tube
Our signature tube richness. Even-order harmonics add warmth without making the sound muddy. When you need air, body, and vintage style
Tape Models
Six authentic tape machines—from professional to budget. Three speed modes: high, medium, low, and noise reduction.
Analog glue and cohesion across the frequency spectrum
Saturate
Ten algorithms: Vintage Preamp, British Console, Transistor, Wavefolder, and others.
Creative color schemes—from subtle to vibrant
Dynamic Mode
Frequency-dependent compression with a full set of envelope controls. Threshold, ratio, attack, and release.
Control resonances and eliminate problematic frequencies
Dynamic Saturation
High-frequency compression using harmonics. Brings out quiet details without increasing noise levels.
Add expression and richness without simply increasing volume.
