Electric: Aggressive, bright sound
Fire: Warm, thick sound
Radiation: Sharp, raspy sound
Ultraviolet: Extreme metallic sound

The Power of VORTEX
VORTEX replicates several well-known analog saturation modes to deliver maximum power to your home studio.
You can also easily fine-tune the perfect tone using the Color, Filter, and Mix knobs.
VORTEX includes 16 presets designed specifically to make your 808s and basses sound big.
How exactly do the modes in VORTEX enhance the sound of the 808s?
Electric:
Based on a pentode tube, this mode delivers plenty of odd-order harmonics and an aggressive, bright sound on low-frequency material.
Fire
Fire is inspired by the warmer sound of a valve with even-order harmonics. It’s great for adding richness to an 808 or warming up a drum bus to achieve volume without being too harsh.
Radiation:
A mode inspired by the discrete Class-A circuit used in many well-known preamps and outboard gear for richer sound. Symmetrical limiting with an emphasis on odd-order harmonics. Great for adding expressiveness to dull bass lines.
Ultraviolet:
A more extreme mode that uses the waveform to create unique metallic tones. Useful for filtering and blending with the Mix knob to add color to the sound.
