The duo performs electropop with elements of indie and folk rock; among its main influences, its members mention early Depeche Mode, The Human League, Blancmange, Heaven 17, and Nick Drake. At the 53rd Grammy Awards ceremony, which took place on February 13, 2011, the duo’s self-titled album won the award for “Best Electronic/Dance Album”.
