The PSP Impressor emulates the magical characteristics of classic valve and optoelectronic compressors as well as classic modern compressors. The PSP Impressor also features an easily customizable side chain. The side chain filter has a significant impact on the sound and performance of the PSP Impressor. Depending on your sidechain filter settings, the filter also allows you to use the compressor as a de-esser or to reduce the effect of pumping heavy kicks and the like.
