It focuses on a very expressive and emotional playing style. Each note is sampled with multiple speakers in a musical context from real performances. This gives more overall musicality and energy. In addition to standard and custom articulations, this tool contains a unique Performance Designer engine that can bring your composition to life and create a unique atmosphere, as well as give you control over textures. Ashen Scoring Cello is not just another run of the mill string library. Our tool is designed to work in a broad context. From dark ambient and experimental music to orchestral music and trailers.
DESCRIPTION :
As composers, we understand the importance of a quality cello instrument with traditional and non-traditional articulation. Each sample has been cut and edited by hand to capture the beautiful tone of the cello. Recorded up to 8 looping algorithms and 4 dynamic layers for incredible realism. For short articulations, we did not record individual samples one after another, but real performances, and took samples from real repetitions. This method is called Sample Repetition. It gives a more general musicality and energy, increases the density and focuses on the attack of the samples.
Ashen Scoring Cello is designed primarily for film composers who need a unique and inimitable voice. It includes some standard repertoire such as long legato and pizzicato, but it also has some really great articulations like credit card strumming, a very obnoxious sul ponticello, and even cello body percussion.
The second important part of our library is the advanced performance builder. This tool can be used in many situations and for many purposes. For example, you can create a harmony and then play a melody using the instruments you play over it. Or you can create interesting rhythmic patterns that perfectly complement the main rhythms of the composition. All performances are perfectly combined with each other and divided into five categories: melodies, harmonies, rhythms, percussion and others. We have also prepared a bunch of presets / shots and programmed an intelligent randomization function. The performance designer did not think to completely replace the entire cellist. But more like an addition to the arrangement. It is not designed as a sound toy that completely replaces the performer.
