I run into an issue with using libraries in Kontakt when there’s no installation file in the torrent… Ive ran into this issue a lot on this site, especially w Native Instruments products. Am I just not seeing them or something? What do I need to do be able to use these libraries in Kontakt?
These are Kontakt libraries so they need to be installed through Kotkt itself. Open Kontakt, go to “Libraries” and “Manage Libraries” to install. Point Kontakt to the folder that contains the .nicnt file, etc.
I install Triaz from the Kontakt library manager by adding the Triaz foloder and subfolders too, but when I open it it says that the .nki file is missing, but it is nevertheless in the folder and imported. I do not understand anything.
Which version of Kontakt should I use? Anyone have a tutorial?
With new version of Kontakt, you need to use Native Acces to manage library. But now Triaz appears with DEMO tag and no preset. 🙁 I am desperate
Yannoch I may be wrong but if you get the Kontakt 7.7 by “bobdule”, you’ll find a “Kontakt Button” .exe file. Put on desktop, it will open with an “Add Library” button. For some reason, when I use that little utility without Kontakt running, when I do run Kontakt, the libraries added appear. I had installed a few libraries from “Manage Libraries” button while Kontakt was running and upon restart of Kontakt they weren’t showing up. Check out the bobdule version……. no promises but worth a shot.
