Even the old-school D/A converters of the original hardware have been modeled, with their nonlinearities
and tone shaping colors, leading to the two versions of the Curtis filter chips used for the A and B revisions of the original hardware.
The plug-in allows for further artificial detuning and recalibration of the analog components. Brutal attacks,
sharp decays, and a wealth of wonderful transients define the sound of the first generation of Microwave.
But the Microwave 1 Plug-In goes one step further: its modern and attractive graphical user interface reveals
many aspects of the synthesis engine that were previously hidden in the original hardware by its sparse, difficult-to-use interface.
Its existence, never mechanical but always distinct, was based on a unique architecture of envelope,
LFO and modulation creation, which were painstakingly recreated by the plugin down to the smallest detail.
A fully scalable modern interface with easy-to-read, high-contrast fonts supports intuitive
audio editing with multiple graphical representations of wavetables, envelopes and filter response curves, with animations
