Why should I use The King? We believe that the right question would sound like this: why should not you use The King? Let’s talk more about this. The King is the king of creativity. It combines a dynamic amplifier and a multi-band compressor. A conventional multi-band compressor allows the user to compress all the bands of an audio track, a MIDI instrument or a master track. It also allows you to change the threshold of each band and release time, in general, right? Well, The King is more than just increasing the threshold handles.
Now you can adjust the frequency range threshold. But most, if not all, of the multi-band plug-ins compressors allow you to configure only three bands: Low, Mid and High. The King is more than three frequency bands, it allows you to control and adjust 5 bands: Low, Low Mid, Mid, High Mid and High! But we said that The King is much more than an ordinary multi-band plug-in compressor. It has amazing features, such as:

5-way setup with Make Up Gain : The King has all the features of a multi-band compressor, but what distinguishes it from any other similar plug-in on the market? The King allows the user to dive deeper into the tuning of each individual frequency section. The ability to adjust the number of thresholds of each individual group, and also to adjust the “Make Up Gain” parameter for each individual group, which allows creating a stunning, clean and professional sound that will surely appeal to both the producer and listeners.
Mix knob : this knob in any plug-in is very important and can be used in many ways. The uniqueness of this handle in The King is its purpose and the fact that it is not just an ordinary Mix twist. You can use the Mix knob as a parallel compressor, simply adding only 30% of the received sound to the mix. This is a unique effect, which gives the output really creative and kinematic sound, which we know for sure, will be satisfied with the manufacturers.
There is no need for an external limiter : The use of a limiter in any style of production is mandatory. And most plugins do not provide this function, because they assume that you are just using a third-party plug-in. The WA Production team believes that the external limits are amazing, and we do not say that you should not use them in your mixes. However, we believe that we have gathered something that will keep your effects rack not cluttered! The King does not look like an ordinary plugin. It comes with the built-in Limiter ! A simple switch that does not allow a single audio file or a MIDI instrument to exceed the 0 dB mark. The 0db icon is the maximum peak of anything in the song. Anything that passes the 0db mark will cause an action called clipping. The King will save time and space, as well as provide the main factor of convenience.
Lowering and increasing compression : The King wants manufacturers to have FULL control over the sound, so we realized a lowering and boosting compression. These effects are two separate Upward and Down handles in the interface. Both knobs are set to 100 by default and can completely go down to 0 and go up to 200. We also added a Time knob that allows you to adjust the time of attack and release of these compression methods. We like how both of these dynamics compression options complement the combination of the multi-band elements added to the Magic EQ. We believe that this effect will add a great sound to any of your master racks, audio files or MIDI instruments.
