Outlaw listens to the incoming sound and compensates for changes in volume, simulating the movement of the fader of a real sound mixer. Forget about drawing complex volume automation systems and let Outlaw do the hard work for you with smooth gain alignment and lots of features.
The 4 primary disks give you flexible control over the basic parameters of Outlaw, which means that you can easily adjust the performance of the plug-in. Adjust the effect intensity using the MIX dial and set the RMS level using the TARGET dial. Use the GATE knob to set the relative level and so that the gain rider ignores softer sounds. The main output is controlled by the GAIN control, which is very convenient for fine tuning levels for accurate comparison of A / B signals.
Settings – Fine tuning the gain algorithm with advanced settings is available in the additional panel. Outlaw can operate in bandwidth mode with high-pass and low-pass filters and 4 different cutoff slope settings. For example, this means that you can effectively adjust the gain of a sound with a low rumble threshold, severe leakage, or other problematic frequency information.
The Attack and Release parameters allow you to form transients and sustains of processed audio to create a smoother signal. The Direction parameter can be set to control the direction of attack and release, working to increase the decrease or in both directions.
