Description : ValhallaDelay is a classic and modern delay system and echo.
Tape delay, BBD, digital old school, pitch shifting – all in one plugin. ValhallaDelay offers classics and expands it to new dimensions with unique Ratio and Quad delay styles, Ghost mode (which adds frequency shift) and a powerful diffusion section that can create anything from blurry echoes to terrestrial reverb.
ValhallaDelay has seven unique delay modes (Tape, HiFi, BBD, Digital, Ghost, Pitch, RevPitch) and five delay styles (Single, Dual, Ratio, PingPong, Quad). By combining modes and styles, you can get classic tape echoes, Bucket Brigade chip-style delays, old-school digital delays, pitch doublers, reversed delays, an elusive chorus … the list goes on and on.
We spent a lot of time modeling vintage hardware delays, but we didn’t stop there.
Many thoughts have been given to the ValhallaDelay controls. The graphical interface has all the necessary controls for such a universal delay, while leaving only the necessary controls, so the interface is quick and easy to use. All controls are on the same screen – no hidden tabs or menus. The goal is to create a tool that you can quickly master to get the sounds you need and do your job!

Specifications:
ValhallaDelay has seven different delay modes :
• Tape: Modeled after vintage tape.
• HiFi: This is a higher echo, where it can be scored.
• BBD: A dark, low fidelity bucket brigade delay model.
• Digital: A cleaner dial in digital dirt.
• Ghost: A Valhalla DSP original! This is a combination of the most advanced and unique diffusion mode.
• Pitch: A digital delay with added pitch shifting. Perfect for micro-shifting vocals, adding harmonies to synths, creating vastly shimmering soundscapes, or shrieking sounds that forever spiral upwards or downwards.
• RevPitch: Reverse pitch shifting! Everything that goes in, comes out reversed.
Five tape Styles, for controlling the number of delay voices :
• Single: Same delay length & modulation for the left and right channels.
• Dual: Independent delay lengths for the left and right channels.
• Ratio: The channel is mixed. Slowly from delay to reverb-esque.
• PingPong: Set the left and right channels independently.
• Quad: Models the multi-head tape echoes of the 1960s and 1970s, with up to 4 delay taps on tap.
Cool features :
• Delay lengths ranging from 0 msec to 20 seconds. Dial in choruses and flangers, slapback echoes, longer delays, or long Frippertronic loops.
• Sync the delay to the beat, with straight / dotted / triplet options. Or, control the length via milliseconds.
• Age control, for adjusting the delay mode. Clean and shiny, old and dusty, or anywhere in between.
It is an amazingly smooth effect. Up to 20 seconds of diffusion time possible!
• Era control, for selecting between the delay modes.
