There are many powerful equalizer plugins out there. So why did we create a plugin version of the MPEQ-1?
The legendary MPEQ-1 hardware equalizer does things that even most digital equalizers cannot. Yet, despite years of requests to bring it to the plugin world, we took our time—because we felt that if we were going to do it, we had to bring something truly new to the digital realm. Just as the MPEQ-1 hardware was unprecedented in the analog sphere, the plugin had to be unprecedented in the digital one.
That is exactly what we achieved with the MPEQ-1 Super-Parametric Saturation Equalizer plugin.

– Pro Tools: presets now correctly recall switch positions and …viewing state, and the host automation shortcut no longer changes the grid panel buttons.
