Description : Cloudburst creates some of the most gorgeous ambient reverb tones and soundscapes you’ve ever heard, including a whole host of exciting sounds that haven’t been available in a plugin before.
But how can a reverb plugin deliver something truly new?
The answer is Cloudburst’s revolutionary Ensemble engine.Additionally
Harmonic Magic
Cloudburstβs Ensemble effect works by continuously analyzing 48 different frequency ranges in the source audio, then generating the corresponding upper harmonic partials of what it finds in each range. The result is a gorgeous synthesized string ensemble expansion of your reverberant signal that creates unique new textures, taking your tracks to a new and unforgettable level.
Try Ensemble on any acoustic instrument or vocal for a vast new palette of sounds. Instantly create lush string voices, or use Ensemble subtly to add harmonics and movement to your ambient reverberant soundscapes.
Effortless Sound Design
Designed for musical sound in any environment, Cloudburst’s elegantly simple and intuitive controls make it easy to find the perfect, ear-catching, and inspiring sound for your track.
Experimenting with the controls is incredibly fun, and may even take you beyond the sound you had in mind to something you never imagined.
Instant Ambient Pad
Infinite reverb sustain is available by pressing the Hold button in Cloudburst, so any sound you feed into Cloudburst can instantly create an ambient pad.
A switch selects between Infinite and Freeze for the Hold button, and both options have the ability to transform your sound in different ways: Infinite allows your reverbs to persist indefinitely, with each new note you play added to the reverb signal. Freeze also provides infinite sustain, but allows you to play new and unprocessed notes on top of the sustain signal β without adding reverb.
Lush Modulation
Lush stereo effects created by modulating the lengths of a reverb’s delay lines can add movement and interest to the overall sound of a reverb, and Cloudburst takes this to the next level – especially when used with Ensemble! The Mod knob acts as a modulation depth from minimum to 12 o’clock, and as a modulation speed from noon to maximum, where you can find sci-fi-style oscillating vintage pitch modulation.
From small spaces to endless spaces
Turning the Decay control automatically adjusts numerous internal parameters, creating musically responsive spaces of any size with a single turn of the knob.
From exquisitely tuned and natural-sounding small rooms to expansive ambiences not found on Earth, even small changes to the Decay control can result in noticeable changes in the reverb character.
Lost in the Clouds
Cloudburst gives you gorgeous and mesmerizing reverbs with luxurious decay that lasts for days.
The powerful ambient reverbs found on Cloudburst’s higher decay settings create hypnotically beautiful tails that remain musical even at the most extreme settings.
