If you have installed Activation Manager Unlocker from VR, you need to uninstall them manually.

r2rcertest.exe file was broken. how to fix it?

Dear R2R. r2rcertest.exe is broken. It has never worked from your first iteration of Cubase 12.
r2rcertest is not a must, it’s just to test if you were able to install the certificate correctly. When installing the certificate, read carefully what windows suggests! Make sure you install it in correct place.
Yet this won’t solve the issue since midi port enabler folder is missing from the installer….
i was having trouble installing the certificate but i managed to figure it out with this suggestion:

Famouslut replied,”Yeah. Open (⊞+R) certmgr.msc (edit oops =) Go to Trusted Root Certification Authorities >> Certificates. Right click on certificates >> All tasks >> Import. Select the R2RCA.cer file. Follow instructions (click through). Check w/ checker tool. Profit!”
Epidemico then said,”It’s exactly as explained on the site i posted, but you wrote “certlm.exe”, that command doesn’t exists, not even “certmgr.exe”, only “certmgr.msc” and you need to be admin anyway or the command will not work, i followed that instructions, the certificate is there, but if i run the exe it says is not installed. I removed the certificate, ran certmgr as admin, imported as specified on instructions, and same shit, when i run the .exe it says is not installed. Did you restart your machine after that?
Edit: got it, that site says to add it on “Third-Party Root Certification Authorities” you said “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” which is the right place, now it works, thank you!
