Uninstalling and Cleaning :
- Uninstall previous versions.
- Clean by deleting the following files:
• VST dir
• VST3 dir
• AAX dir
• %PROGRAMDATA%\Spectrasonics*.exe
• %PROGRAMDATA%\Spectrasonics\plug-ins*.dll, .vst3
If you want to remove a previous license, delete
• %PROGRAMDATA%\Spectrasonics\AUDIO.DAT
Runtime
Make sure you have the latest version of R2R System installed.
Check the Runtime.txt file for version requirements.
Installation :
- Simply run the installation.
Login
*** We recommend logging in to the standalone version ***
- Put your computer in offline mode.
Otherwise, you won’t see the ChallengeCode due to URL redirection. - Launch the program. Authorization will begin.
- Click “REQUEST AUTHORIZATION.” A browser will open.
- Check the URL in the browser that opens. It looks something like this:
“https://www.spectrasonics.net/authorization?prod=Omnisphere&vers=3.0.0d&ch=SmMY%256QnT%3dXyx38KlPUBqkTBx%3fB8”
Tip: The URL is also available in the file “%LOCALAPPDATA%\Spectrasonics\rhurltemp.html”.
- Launch our key generator.
- Select the product you want to activate.
- Copy the ChallengeCode from the URL (the value of the “ch” parameter) into the key generator.
(In the example above, “SmMY%256QnT%3dXyx38KlPUBqkTBx%3fB8” is the Challenge Code.) - Click “Generate” in the key generator. The license will be generated and copied to the clipboard.
- Click “PASTE” in the program.
- Click “CONTINUE” in the program.
Done, restart the application.
