Description : Creating bass lines in modern music is a real art. We need to make them distorted and wide, preserving mono compatibility and often requiring a lot of fine tuning and experimentation, so we created the Renegade Mini to simplify it and speed up the workflow.
As the name implies, this is an abbreviated version of his older brother, which will be released later. But do not let this simple interface deceive you. Renegade Mini is packed with the same processing technology as its older brother. The only difference is a reduced graphical interface, and signal processing is equivalent to 11 modules in the chain of effects.
Renegade Mini is designed to quickly improve your bass lines and is especially useful in modern dance music production.
DRIVE knob : When set to 0%, the parameter is completely transparent, which allows the signal to be transmitted without processing. If you turn the knob, the signal will receive an effect that is equivalent to the effect of 11 separate plug-ins, from compression to stereo amplification.
When the knob is turned to maximum, the signal will become more distorted, which will give your bass more weight and presence.
Caution: Always check the levels before turning this knob too hard, because the signal will become louder, so always remember about reducing the gain of the channel before increasing this parameter. Your ears and monitors will be grateful for this!
Side-Chain : Renegade Mini includes a Sidechain Volume Shaper with three curves that can be selected simultaneously with the time settings (up to 6x). This allows you to create a distorted pumping, which is mandatory in different genres of modern dance music.
