Description: The Aztec Death Whistle is a folk wind instrument that conveys the dark soul of the ancient Aztecs – the “death whistle” that was used during human sacrifice and war during Aztec times. This whistle is of the same kind as the whistle of birds or animals and is made of clay and fired in a kiln. It has two chambers that create air cavities and which cause resonance when blown. The whistle produces a harsh, raspy atonal vocal sound much like a sigh, but with a shrill demonic essence that is sure to evoke fear on an almost instinctive level. This sound is the embodiment of death.
