Starting and stopping the tape :
When you stop the tape recorder, the tape does not stop instantly – it decreases as it stops, or slowly increases as it reaches a full playback state. just click on the tape recorder to recreate this effect. The slider under the player sets the time in seconds to start/stop the tape.
Tape faults :
The quality of the tape can lead to playback errors, such as occasional drops in volume due to the tape losing contact with the playback head. Small audio artifacts caused by tape jams, tape wrinkles, or obstructions such as dust are also common. With the help of the “failure” regulator you can eliminate these errors.
EQ Profiles for Tape :
Every tape sounds different, so we analyzed the EQs of 8 tape formats and machines and then put them directly into the plugin. Choose from a variety of sources including cassettes, VCRs and reel-to-reel tapes. Also included are various devices – cassette multitracks, portable tape recorders and a classic boombox from the 80s.
