Description :
The Thunder Drum percussion instrument is made by attaching a spring to the bottom of a hollow cylinder. When the instrument is shaken, the spring begins to move creating a continuous resonance through the body of the instrument. The result is a sound similar to thunder. Thunder Drums come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and sometimes have different names, such as Thunder Tube, Spring Drum or Thunder Maker.
