Description: Classic drum sounds for the modern studio and live performance.
Since the Vaudeville era of the 1920s, the drum set has been a mainstay of popular music. The light touch of a brush on a snare, the bounce of a pedal on a vintage drum head. These moments make the game unlike any other. Drums have formed the basis of English rock, cool Chicago blues, traditional jazz… With the release of Drum Studio, Roland Cloud offers high-quality acoustic sampled drums for your studio and live performances.
Classic Drum Studio kits come from a history of craftsmanship born in the South and Quebec. We recorded these cutting-edge samples with modern instruments. Now these carefully recorded drum sounds are yours. Presets such as “Rock It”, “Backbeat”, “Wooden Hoops”, “Nashville” and others provide starting points in a variety of styles useful for different applications.
Drum Studio includes 6 kicks, 5 snares, 9 toms and 7 cymbals, sampled with different articulations and multiple microphone placements
Holy guacamole, Batman!!!!! I’d no idea there were Concerto resources out here in the realm of the mortals!!!! Couple years ago I’d been yanked into a ridiculously great originals band, as keyboardist. Truth is I’m limited to compose and/or teach music theory with keyboard, but I’m 99.7% guitarist. There was a Roland Stage DI keyboard in the rehearsal studio and I think I read that the Concerto libraries made the Stage DI sounds available…….?? I can’t find anything on the ‘net about that gem. The VR series with the D-50, ProMars, etc. is great but any Concerto stuff would be awesome if only for exploration 🙂
