Description : Resomonia is a Kontakt instrument with 128 “resonating” presets in the categories Ambient, Hybrid, Pad, Plucked, Wind and Soundscape.
Resomonia has five knobs for modifying the sound, including controls for wobble, interference, and overflow (tuned delays). On top of that, you have precise control over the amp envelope, space (reverb), as well as a multi-mode filter. The wobble effect adds panorama and movement to the sound, while the interference colors the sources with audible glitches and distortion.
Instead of multisampling the classic Rigid Audio instrument, we multisampled the highly resonant filter effects. For example, RA adjusted the cutoff frequency of the filter so that it can be played musically. This resulted in unique resonant timbres.
In total, 1400 sound sources have been created for Resomonia. To do this, Rigid Audio has developed a new Kontakt interface, which has built-in sounds.
The library is very interesting for experimental or cinematic music.
