Can we Run Nexus 4 and 5 on the same pc/Daw ?
I installed this version 5.1.1 and the Nexus 5 Content that comes with the 5.10 (the link at the end of the page). It is working well so far.
Removed nexus 4 and made clean install of Nexus 5. No daw seem to accept the Nexus.dll for a vst instrument.
Hello!
Can someone tell me how the files are copied?
Thanks!
Nexus AAX crashes ProTools (AudioUtopia release). VST3 works fine.
Anybody have this working in ProTools?
– Download this torrent (obviously)
– Download from the link at the end of this page (“>>>Nexus 5 Factory Library<<<"). It's about 12 Gb or a little less because it has all the 1.177 presets
– At your download location you now will have two folders, one named "reFX Nexus v5.1.0" and one named "reFX Nexus v5.1.1"
– Install the version from the folder (5.1.1), by clicking the file "reFX Nexus v5.1.1 CE.exe". Select "Clean Install" (unless you want to update your current Nexus but in this case I don't know how to proceed further)
– The installation will ask you to indicate the Library location. Click Search and go to the "reFX Nexus v5.1.0" location and select the "Nexus 5 Content" folder. Finish installation.
– Go to the folder "Nexus 5 Content" cited above and click "update_nexus_library_location.exe". A brief command prompt will appear and disappear.
– Open your DAW and load Nexus. It will be "fully operational" π
(If you think it's too small click the "N5" circular logo at the top right of the application, go to "Interface" then "Set size" and select "Large (100%)
I hope this helped.
thank u !!
