Hey guru…… you could create a category for just vocals, especially if some vocaloid libraries were to materialize……..(cough…….).
I never wish to sound condescending but it seems as if the majority of female vox libraries sound nearly identical, like there’s one original performer that the others want to sound like. When my ex was the singer in my band I had to “walk on eggshells” to get her to find HER voice, that Stevie Nicks was already done……. 🙂 I had a second singer, a chic who was perfect for Brazilian jazz. Anyway, it’s the industry that controls the “supply”.
