Description :
Nomad Factory is a major plugin company founded by the late Bernie Torelli, a world-renowned engineer, producer, and composer who worked in Paris, Montreal, and Los Angeles with legendary musicians and artists such as Stanley Clarke in Los Angeles, Michel Polnareff in France, Marie Carmen in Montreal, and many others. His work has received high praise from numerous leading industry magazines, including Mix and Pro Audio Review. Bernie was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Instrumental Album for mixing Cab2.

In 2001, drawing on over 25 years of analog engineering experience, Bernie began developing products reminiscent of the technology of the 1960s and 1970s. This is how the Blue Tubes Bundle was born. Working as a sound engineer at Track Star Studios in San Diego, California, Bernie quickly replaced the studio’s standard plug-ins with his own. Numerous top-notch musicians passing through the studio couldn’t help but remark on the stunning sound quality combined with user-friendly features. After numerous inquiries about the availability of these products, in mid-2002 Nomad Factory officially became a company selling audio plug-ins online.

Today, Nomad Factory’s product lineup includes over 120 titles, including award-winning plugins such as the Blue Tubes Bundle, Magnetics Bundle, Analog Mastering Tools, British Bundle, and many more…

In January 2016, Plugivery Distribution acquired Nomad Factory following the death of longtime friend and partner Bernie Torelli. Since the acquisition, Plugivery has maintained the product line and released five best-selling plugins inspired by Bernie’s notes for future products, including Bus Driver, 80’s Spaces, Analog Studio Rack, Garbage LSD, and Drum Tools.

New products will soon be released. Bernie alumnus Maxence Grandidier will serve as lead developer. Supported by new, young, and talented developers, Maxence and the close-knit Plugivery team are undoubtedly the right person to preserve the spirit of the legendary Nomad Factory brand.
