All VALVES presets contain a complementary collection of phrases for each instrument, composed of expertly executed articulations, synced to your host’s tempo, and designed to work seamlessly together. Add movement and color to your compositions with the Moments slider, which gradually and musically introduces new phrase variations, one instrument at a time.

AUTHENTICITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE
To ensure a natural, human sound, the articulations in VALVES were recorded with a full ensemble playing alongside the conductor—but each instrument was recorded separately. The result is the sound of a real ensemble playing together, while preserving the subtle nuances of each instrument, allowing for individual mixing and processing.
CREATED BY E-INSTRUMENTS
e-instruments, previously responsible for NI’s SESSION STRINGS and SESSION HORNS projects, as well as CREMONA QUARTET, brings over a decade of sampling experience to VALVES. The team applied their deep expertise to create a virtual ensemble that is as realistic as it is playable, with chromatic samples, polyphonic legato transitions, realistic re-speaking effects, thoughtful voice assignments, and much more.
